Tiny Tots

Our Tiny Tots classes are based on The Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture Curriculum and are developed to address young children’s cognitive, motor and effective development. The classes are specifically developed for girls aged 3 -4 Years.

Tiny Tots classes will help your child:

  • Enhance their movement abilities and physical fitness

  • Stimulate their listening skills

  • Build confidence and self-esteem

  • Encourage your child to be co-operative and sociable

Each class contains a familiar warm-up, themed development portions and a cool down.

The learning in our Tiny Tots classes is hidden.  The children are doing physie and they don’t even realise it!  They are rising up and reaching for the stars or tapping their pointed toes on a hidden fairy door.

What do I wear?

Members are to wear a leotard, gym wear, a singlet top, and bike tights or even a swimming costume and tights.  In winter members can wear stockings or long tights and a ballet cross over top.  (These can be easily obtained from stores such as Best & Less and Big W).

School uniforms, big shirts, tracksuits, jumpers, anything baggy will not be allowed.  It is very hard to correct positions when children and ladies wear unsuitable attire.

Hair is to be neat and tidy and pulled back off the face.

If you have ballets please wear them.  If not bare feet are fine for the first term.

Please no jiffies or socks, they can be very slippery on the floor.
